TC is located in Iloilo City, Philippines.

Iloilo is one of the most beautiful cities in the Philippines. The magnificent mountain sceneries, the beautiful unknown beaches, the booming businesses, and of course the rich traditional culture.



Today, we will feature a traditional market near our school. It's only 5 minutes away from our school. Lapaz market is one of the oldest markets in Iloilo city. You can find the oldest "Batchoyan" in Iloilo. Batchoy is one of the local food in Iloilo it's a noodle cooked in Ilonggo style. You can also see and taste some traditional food like "puto", "bibingka", "suman" and many more.






If you're looking to eat tropical fruits at a cheaper price, Lapaz market is a go-to place. You can eat a lot of fresh fruit just minutes away from our school. It makes learning fun and adventurous.

Buko: The Tree of Life.

  Coconut is a green refreshing fruit that we can usually see in tropical countries like the Philippines. It is well-known that it is hot in the Philippines and drinking this refreshing drink can cool us down. Coconut also known as "Buko" is one of the Filipino's favorite beverages throughout the year as buko can bear fruit in any season.  Two months ago, some of our student's mothers always buy coconuts every morning and their children drink them together after second-period class since it was their break time. Students enjoy sipping the refreshing buko while eating some snacks. It helps them to be energized to start another class.  Surely it is great to study when your body feels great and refreshed. having buko while studying is fun. The buko that they were selling is just 5 minutes away from our school (GITC). Acacia Tree: A Symbol of immortality

 The acacia tree is one of the most beautiful trees ever. Usually, it stands proudly and magnanimously amidst all the other trees in its vicinity. It is considered  to be  a symbol of immortality  because of its hardness, durability, and evergreen nature. The refreshing air it gives off can help you feel calm and relaxed. This tree has an aura that makes you feel awe. It will make you feel comfortable and ease up with the stress and pressure you're experiencing every day. Now, It's the season when you can see it blooming with flowers. You can't even take your eyes off it. This breathtaking tree can be seen in front of the GITC building. You can enjoy this scenic view from the GITC balcony while studying and having freshly brewed coffee from the GITC cafeteria. So, what are you waiting for?   Philippines is known as the only Christian nation in Asia. Where more than 86% are Christians. This time of the year, Filipinos opened the Holy Season of Lent. This is to commemorate the Death and passion of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Filipinos are known to be devotees of catholicism. In many parts of the country, they organize different events to recall the sufferings of Christ. It is part of their culture to dress every saint statue beautifully that they have in their households.
